This page will introduce you to some of the technology pieces we have available to spotters within the Newport District.

Spotter Listserv	The Spotter Listserv is a general discussion and information desimination point. Severe weather outlooks are broadcast on this list each morning when spotter activation is possible. Follow this link to sign up for this listserv.
Alert Network	The Alert Network is used to pass short messages to spotters via their cell phones and pagers, notifying them of activations and the possibility of severe weather. Additional information can be found on our alert system page.
Spotter Survey	Each Spring we host a Spotter Survey which helps us gather information on the capabilities of our spotters. The results are posted and will be compared to the previous year.
